Robert Benech

Robb Benech's professional experience with VSP Products began in the Santa Clara Valley working in the 100- year-old family food business, which at that time produced primarily dried fruits including apricots, peaches, pears and prunes. His hands-on experience in the business varied from driving a forklift, serving as manager of production, direct mail order marketing manager, and purchasing manager.

Robb purchased the company from his father in 1986 and shifted the family's dried-fruit business to concentrate solely on producing sun dried tomatoes. His marketing acumen allowed him to see features in the ways sun dried tomatoes were commonly used to create a shift from producing a commodity into growing a gourmet item.

Robb sold the company in November of 2007, but his knowledge of the dried fruit business makes him one of our greatest sales tools.

Robb graduated from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo with a BS degree in Business Administration with dual concentration in Marketing and Finance. He is a member of Rotary Club, San Jose—Paul Harris Fellow.

Chuck Perry, National Sales Manager Food Service/Retail

A life long resident of Rochester, New York, Chuck has been in Sales and Marketing for almost 20 years.

"I enjoy selling our product because of its high quality, variety of cuts and the unique Sun Dried Tomato products we have to offer." Chuck states.

After attending Buffalo State College for Mass Communications, Chuck switched focus to the food industry in the mid 80's starting as a Chef at a local upscale restaurant. From there he went on to selling prepared entrees and salads for a national Food Service/Retail company in Brooklyn, New York.

Chuck Started working with for VSP Products in 2003 as the East Coast Sales Manager and took over the National Sales Manager Food Service and Retail position in November of 2007.

Chuck spends approximately 20 to 30 weeks on the road which is fine with him. "Covering the country has brought me many new close friends and business partners".
